We all have grown and experienced camping – going to the forest, cooking meals in impossible situations and staying inside tents. We do all of these just to experience the outdoor first hand. However, if one thinks about it, old school camping is not at all that fun especially if there are no sports and games to keep the campers occupied. If you want to have a camping experience plus loads and loads of adventures, then Camp Sabros is definitely the most commendable place for you. Imagine staying in up in the highlands of Kapatagan in Digos City and be enveloped in fog as you traverse through walkways lined with pines. This is surely something you thought you would only see in television. More than the ambience, one major reason why the place has been able to gather many avid fans is because of its zipline facility. Yes, it is indeed a very marvelous experience to zip through thick foliage of pines and see a panoramic view of green luscious forest. Truly, this is something that is difficult to forget.

My family and i are planning to spend some time here. Do we need to make reservations before going there, or could we just check in immediately? i’m thinking about the inns. About the houses, is there any showers or at least good water accommodations? Are there any restaurants as well? We would like to try some delicacies there. And could you tell us about the temperature there as well? We would like to know what sort of clothes to wear ’cause if it’s as you said that it’s like during spring time, we would like to know the average degree.

Though our stay had lots of unexpected incidences, we appreciated the entire place..the staff are friendly and accomodating, a typical Visayan culture..the place is very nice, u can imagine as if u’re in a place with spring season..very cold and cozy..????

Camp Sabros is a nice place, very cool, relaxing, best for family to spend time together..u can take pictures overlooking the Mt. Apo, cheap overnight accomodation..BUT..the place is not well maintained..most of us who went there ay naligaw.. 2 hilux, 1 ranger, 4 motorcycles! We all reached the muddy, uncemented road uphill den bak agen after knowing na lumampas na kmi! Bcoz these was no visible signage along the hiway..the camp is going uphill but agen the road is not passable kapag umulan..u need to ride a horse or simply take a 750metets walk..in late afteroon, naakyat din namin ang hilux togetjer wid oder guests.. kinagabihan, we look for their videoke so that we can enjoy the cool night while sipping the wine n beer..not available coz it was borrowed, huh? I thought it was intended for the guests! Mabuti na lng merong billiard , though it was my 1st time to play it! ..strong gush of wind welcomed our stay at night with minor rains in the morning..around past 6am, my daughter had fever so i need to find paracetamol in their store.. but unluckily no sigle staff is around..so i woke them up from their cottage but again not available..we decided to leave the place early after taking more pictures to reminisce the place..while taking the trail down with our hilux, since the road is so maputik, madulas and bumpy with very steep areas, bumaba kaming lahat, my driver had difficulty maneuvering the vehicle and it almost fell..so we ask help from tbe people living in the hiway who successfully guided my driver until it finally reached the main road..it took almost an hour!.it was an unforgettable holiday for us!!
