El Nido, located in Palawan, is well-known for its stunning seascape featuring towering limestone islands in Bacuit Bay. In recent years, the coastal village of Corong-Corong, just south of El Nido town, has experienced significant growth in tourism development. What was once a small beachside community is now home to numerous resorts, restaurants, and other establishments. The transportation terminal is also conveniently located within this barangay. Among the new additions to the area is Lime Resort El Nido, a recently opened hotel situated at the southern end of Corong-Corong Beach.
Lime Hotel is a four-star hotel featuring 181 guest rooms spread across seven floors. The all-white exterior, inspired by a cruise ship, stands in contrast to the forested mountain behind it. The interior is minimalist and streamlined, with touches of lime green and aqua blue, the brand colors of Lime Hotel. The hotel’s design incorporates tropical elements, such as corridor railings wrapped in abaca rope, palm leaf wallpapers, and a fish mural in the restaurant, to add warmth and character.
The highlight of the hotel is the infinity swimming pool on the 7th floor, offering breathtaking views of the limestone cliffs of El Nido town and Bacuit Bay. There is also a large rooftop deck, accessible via a flight of stairs from the pool area, providing a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the views. The poolside area can get crowded, especially at sunset, making the rooftop deck an ideal alternative for those seeking a more secluded experience.
