Seven Seas Waterpark will be your next favorite summer, fun and adventurous, destination. Last October 28, 2017, this waterpark has opened its doors to the public. It definitely has garnered a lot of attention since it announced its establishment. Come on, a waterpark with tons of slides that can be enjoyed by anyone of any age, how is that not inviting and exciting?

The waterpark is located in Barra, Opol. Misamis Oriental. This is the first ever waterpark opened in the Northern Mindanao.

Its regular hours start from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Just enough time to enjoy the park with your family and friends.

The pirate themed park has more than 20 different slides and rides available for its guests. One of its many slides available is the Cyclone. The Cyclone slide is a cone shaped slide that is positioned horizontally is 6 storeys high which then leads you directly to a pool. You ride an inflatable good for four people and woosh you go.

Another is a slide which is the longest river ride in the entire country! It measures 500 meters long called the Mighty Maui River. You can use the river to travel the whole water park. Let the waves carry you around the park.

One of the most loved attractions in the waterpark is the Plank Drop Slide. The first ever aqua water loop slide in the Philippines; this slide is not for the faint hearted. The Plank Drop Slide takes one person at a time. Once you enter the tube, a countdown begins before the platform below your feet disappear, and then you shoot down the loop slide. Get ready to experience a roller coaster ride inside a slide.

The Pira-Chute is also one of the long slides the waterpark has. It is an open slide that has at least two rotation spins. This is quite an exciting ride because you can see the sky from here. Try not to get dizzy.

You can also find other attractions such as the Buccaneer Bay, Cutlass and Cannon Ball Run Rides, Riptide Reef, Pacific Racer and a lot more slides, you’ll surely enjoy.
There’s also the Jolly Roger CombiTower. The tower serves as the center point to get to the other rides in the park. It gives you a full 360 view of the whole place.
And when it comes to its fees here is a table.

Wondering how to get to the waterpark? From Cagayan De Oro, just find a ride and stay on the Butuan-CDO-Iligan Rd, from there, make a right turn after SnR. After, just keep going straight along the Bulua Terminal. Make aleft turn on the Opol-Bulua Diversion Rd. Just stay on the road and you’ll eventually see the waterpark to your right.
No matter what your age is, this is a great place to go to with your family and/or friends.
