The project started with a dream of the owners way back in 1998 to offer to the community a place where the family could get together more often while having leisure and fun. The concept of a leisure park that would be very affordable to all people of different walks of life which its facilities would be at par with the international standards of providing recreation to the family.

8 Waves waterpark has been called “8 Waves” for two (2) reasons: (1) the Owner has 8 children, and , (2) the Main Attraction – The Wave Pool – creates “8 Kinds of Waves” .

Indeed from the very beginning, the management has been very optimistic on providing every guest an “experience”- such experience to be noted as “unique” in the sense that he/she would feel not only satisfied but as well as delighted everytime he or she leaves the place.

With this in mind, the theme under the sea (water world) finally became the final concept to which gave the park its present image. The biggest attraction, the waves at the 2,788.52 sq. m. pool has become the centerpiece of the project.

From the Noah’s Arc at the kiddie pool, to the Neptunes  Diner, every guest is promised an unforgettable experience.

From the imaginative minds of eight (8) managers/co-owners of the Corporation – The young, talented, dynamic descendants of the owners, and from the regular tedious meetings of board members for almost a year and a half has finally materialized, 8 Waves Waterpark was conceived in July, 2000 in the province of Bulacan, in the town of San Rafael. Surely, every Bulakeño will be proud of 8 Waves Waterpark – the biggest wave pool attraction in the country today.

At the heart of this 8 Waves is a wave pool which at 2,788.52 sq. m. makes it one of the largest in Asia and the biggest in the Philippines today. Waves go so high that it can virtually knock you off your feet, as much as it can also be but a gentle splash. Either way, it’s a wet and wild escapade

How to get there

By land, 1 hour from Balintawak entry point, use North Luzon Expressway all the way to Tabang/Plaridel exit, 30 minutes from Plaridel using the national road (Cagayan Valley road) to Baliwag, then another 5 minutes from Baliwag to the resort in Ulingao, San Rafael, Bulacan.

be considerate sensitive with your remarks as regards swimmers visiting JED’S. 8 waves might be for the CLASSES B & C but there’s no enough reason to describe those from class d as “ducks swimming in greeenish gray pond.

grabehhhh! tawagin bang pato ang low class na tourists sa 8 waves!

yeah, i think you can bring your own food but you’re gonna have to pay something like a corkage fee. they encourage the visitors to go to their canteen and buy food there. not too many choices but the friend chicken is good for nothing.

oh, and they’re also serious about the swimwear policy. :P

entrance is 250 per person for day swimming, exclusive of the cottage which is uber expensive. :D

i only experienced the diamond wave during the past 2 visits, yup no other waves. i’d say it’s the most well-maintained resort in bulacan, probably because the entrance fee is expensive and even if the resort gets crowded, you can only see some upper C and B classes. (unlike jed’s island resort, too many people, looking like ducks swimming in a greenish gray pond. yuckkk!)

the only part that i like best is the lapping pool.

    i’m giving it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
