To the pleasure of its avid customers, Air Asia flights are going to be back in the air for Davao-Manila flights starting end of March this year. Part of the airline’s welcome treat to its customers is its very affordable promo all-in-flights which are as low as P799.
Flight bookings have already started since February 1 for flights scheduled from March 27 this year to March 26 next year. Based on official accounts, there will be around three Air Asia flights flying Davao to Manila and back on a daily basis.
It can be recalled that Air Asia temporarily suspended its Davao-Manila flights last year and its last flight flew May 1. This was because of the company’s decision to cut on spending costs following the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines’ decision to ground Zest Air.
However, fast forward to more positive developments, Air Asia Philippines has decided to open its market once again in Davao City as it would not want to miss flying to the fastest growing metropolitan in Mindanao.
In fact, based on a statement released by Air Asia Philippines, the company considers Davao City as Mindanao’s important entryway given the city’s value as an economic zone. That is why the aviation company has built partnership with the necessary authorities to bring back their business in Davao.
The new addition of Davao-Manila flights will surely be a big boost both to the country’s and the city’s air travel. Just recently, there have been problems with regards to high air flight demands that the local aviation companies are having difficulties keeping up with. Thus, the addition of three more flights a day is already a big difference.
With the addition of the Davao-Manila flights, Air Asia Philippines now has 18 aircrafts serving Davao, Manila, Cebu, Palawan, Boracay, Bohol, Tacloban and national flights going to Korea and China.
