Dear ABS-CBN,

Journalists have a social responsibility to deliver accurate, unbiased, and appropriate news reporting. ABS-CBN has demonstrably failed in this mandate with their irresponsible and sensationalist broadcasting. Whether they have done good things in the past is IRRELEVANT. What matters now is that they should be held ACCOUNTABLE for their irresponsible and inaacurate news report on the skin illness allegedly spreading in Pangasinan.

If we don’t hold them accountable this time, then what is stopping them from feeding the illiterate, gullible masses with even more lies? Filipinos are woefully incapable of critical thought. This sad fact is clearly demonstrated by many netizens online.

This is not about bashing ABSCBN. This is about us citizens demanding for our right for freedom of information, which should be accurate and unbiased.
