El Galleon beach resort hotels offer the most complete scuba certification training facility in Puerto Galera. After or before the scuba dive El Galleon offers: kayaking, sunset cruises, beach hopping, volleyball, snorkeling, trekking and gold panning in the gold rich mountains that gave Mindoro its name. Whether it’s a lazy day in the sun, adventure or the experience and expectation of gold panning you’re looking for, El Galleon is the right place to scuba dive.
El galleon has excellent service the rooms are native designed clean and located in front of a small heated pool that is also used in teaching divers, they also have rooms with a view of the ocean but getting up the rooms is a cardio workout. They serve western food and if you get tired of their menu lots of restaurants are lined up beside the resort.
Only hassle is getting here 1 hour ferry boat ride. If long boring boat rides are your thing then it’s no problem. what i liked here is the dive sites nice variety of pelagic fishes, sharks and sea turtles are a common site here. Mostly the clients here are Americans and Europeans. Night spots are 3 minute walk from the resort. Highly recommend this resort, enjoy your dives!
Whatever adventure you chose, end the afternoon at the “Point Bar” and prepare to experience the evening; enjoy the best cocktails in the World; and, listen to some soothing sounds. El Galleon beach resort hotels’ cottages on Small La laguna Beach afford the peace and tranquility of private rooms, nestled amongst palm trees, with the crystal clear waters of the Philippine Sea only a stone throw away.
