“El Nido isn’t too big of a town so I didn’t think location really matter being here. This hotel was a straight shot down one street from the ferry (which is what my partner and I took to El Nido from Coron). Because we had luggages, we took a trike but if we didn’t have them, walking wouldn’t have been too bad. It was a beautiful hotel but climbing stairs may be necessary depending on what floor you’re on. We were on the fourth floor so make sure not to forget anything before you leave your room! Wifi was available in your room once you ask the front desk or bell hop to input the password into the devices you want wifi for. The hotel staff were always friendly and with a smiling face. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!”
“Very comfy hotel, well laid out, friendly staff, always clean, great location for exploring northern Palawan. Would stay at Sea Cocoon again.
“Expensive but very small bed and room. The hotel is located in town which is good because everything is nearby. The room was too small even the bed for a couple. No toiletries available only soap and shampoo. No slippers provided. No fridge in the room. We can’t enjoy our food coz it’s easily got spoiled. Breakfast was the worst, they are not refilling it. If u came 30 mins before closing u will not find any food even still lots of costumer are coming they are not refilling What’s only remaining are the only options. Even you will find ants on the serving spoon. Staff in the reception was helpful and smiling.”
“Yes to Sea Cocoon, but don’t use Agoda (higher price!)” Sea Cocoon is a great little hotel with a really convenient location, great staff, strong wifi, good air con etc. However, I made the mistake of booking through Agoda and not comparing the price with the actual hotel rate. With all the add-on taxes, I ended up paying £75 (5,300 pesos) through Agoda for a room that would have cost £50 (3,600 pesos) if I had gone direct to the hotel. That’s a hefty premium. I’m hoping that Agoda will refund the difference, but I’m not holding my breath.”
