Just smaller in size, this little island in Sta. Maria in the province of Davao del Sur looks like a replica of Boracay, thus the name. However, unlike the more popular bigger island that is
known for its shoreline parties and bustling tourist visits, Little Boracay is much more peaceful. Yes, it has still the white sand beach, pristine blue waters and wonderful underwater coral formation, not to mention the rich population of fish and other underwater sea creatures. However, it offers a more peaceful ambiance that tourists would really appreciate especially that the island could be reached only by boat from the town proper. Even with the seclusion, there are decent accommodations available that are ideal for both day and overnight stays with, could even house company retreats and seminars. On top of these, a stay in the island is also very affordable with entrance fees of P10 for kids and P20 for adults. Those who wish to stay overnight would just need to add another P10.

We’ve been In this resort last year and posted a comment for improvement. The place is an added tourist attraction if only the management will improve the Sorrounding for cleanliness, dogs will not be allowed to loiter around waiting for scraps, bathrooms in cottages has proper lock for privacy, aircons are functioning properly, brooms provided for visitors who want their occupied place clean, garbage are not thrown anywhere, in other words, there’s a garbage bin/container for each cottage. Amenities like WiFi if possible so visitors have a way of communicating with families at a distance.
