The Meaning Behind Dimaukom Mosque’s Structure And Hue

The bright pink mosque is a testament to Mr. Dimaukom’s desire to spread the message of positive change and unity amongst all Filipinos. The mosque was also constructed by Christian workmen to symbolize inter-faith brotherhood.
The mosque has two storeys and golden accents to catch the light. The majestic domes are topped with spires and moons. The harmony of its simple construction offers a serene atmosphere for prayer and contemplation. As a first step towards making a more peaceful and welcoming Maguindanao, Dimaukom Mosque goes a long way towards dispelling the fear and negativity that surround the region’s reputation.
