Paras Beach Resort is perhaps Camiguin’s most popular accommodation. Located in the heart of the island, just a short ride from the capital town of Mambajao and a three minute boat ride away from the crystal clear blue waters and white sand beaches of the famous white island.

Originally built as a private beach house of the Paras family, Paras Beach Resort has become a landmark of comfort and convenience in the island paradise of camiguin.

Since its opening in March of 1995, Paras Beach Resort has catered to both local and foreign tourists. Private companies and Government agencies have patronized the resort for their out of town seminars and conferences.

You can choose from the various room types the resort offers. Standard Room costs PhP1700 or USD40 per night while superior is P2000 or USD48. They also have a family room at PhP2750 or USD66 and Dormitory at PhP3600 or USD86. For small groups, I would suggest that you go for the superior rooms as they are situated in the spot closest to the beach. All rooms are airconditioned and with private shower and bath.

Another thing that you’ll surely appreciate about this resort is the fun tours that they offer. Among the popular choices are the whole day island tour highlighting the volcanoes and waterfalls sightseeing, the Sunken Cemetery snorkeling, and Island Hopping and Sand Bar tour. This resort is just 3-minute boat ride away from the famous sand bar.

They also have facilities for various water activities such as jetski, banana boat, parasailing and scuba diving.

Not to be missed is my favorite swimming pool which is situated right in front of the beach, giving you a perfect spot to view the breathtaking sunset of Camiguin.

Food shouldn’t be a problem, too. Paras has an in-house restaurant that is open from 6AM to 12MN.

Relax in the best urban amenities and accommodations Camiguin can offer amidst nature’s bounty. Nestled in the arms of verdant green, kissed by the cool breezes of the mountains and the sea.

Based on a native motif yet retaining all the urban comforts (hot showers, cable TV, international direct-dialing, the resort can comfortably lodge 100 persons. Flexible room set ups and two private cottages permit for a great variety of group sizes.
