Last week we we’re at subic and our friend stay in johan beach resort, we go there to visit our friend i go to the front desk and ask what our friend room number but the lady at front desk she’s so so upset when i ask her, it’s my first time to encounter that kind of behavior of the front desk, every hotel that we stay all the staff so nice and friendly, but johan hotel at subic front desk very rude, and the room that our friend book it they don’t have it co’z they give it to somebody. if you want wifi and cable on your room additional 50 peso a day. so guys if i we’re you don’t ever ever stay in this resort so many good places to stay in subic.

We hired Jet Ski’s at Johans, 2 Skis for 2 hours. In the last 20 minutes one of the jet skis ran out of fuel which resulted in a very slow trip back to the shore with the second Jet Ski following in case the thing stopped completely. (It had stalled already 4 times).
On return to the beach it was agreed with the renter that they would make up the time and give us two Jet Skis for 15 minutes on the following day.
On our return they claim to have agreed to only one Jet Ski as the second one “had no problem”.
So we talk to the Manager at reception and explain the situation to her upon which she follows us out to their renter station, talks to the renter and discovers they have already received payment and so immediately takes the side of her Renter and tells us they will give us only one Jet Ski for 15 minutes.
Throughout the entire event they were rude, and downright corrupt!
I highly advise you avoid this “resort” as Subic and the Philippines has many great venues for beach stays and water activities, just be on the lookout for corrupt operators such as Johans Beach Resort and always pay only half upfront!
